Attractions of Zagreb

Croatia is a land of great natural wonders, and one of the major attractions of Zagreb is Gornji Grad, located in the southern part of Zagreb. This stunning hilltop resort was created as an antidote to the beauty and charm of Dubrovnik, and it was meant to counterbalance the luxurious opulence of Dubrovnik. However, Gornji Grad is much more than a luxurious retreat. It offers guests a chance to experience a taste of authentic Croatian culture, meet friendly locals, and sample the best that Croatia has to offer for entertainment and fun. The resort is also home to numerous bars, clubs, and restaurants where you can enjoy quality time with friends or relax after a long day. When going on a city tour, I choose what to see at Excurzilla.

Croatia's second largest city, Split, is a cultural hub in the Adriatic. It's known for its beaches, churches, and art galleries, and offers a variety of interesting experiences, from sunbathing to water skiing on its beautiful beaches, to shopping in the many small shops and boutiques along the way. If you don't enjoy the beach, you'll enjoy the fun outdoors, which can be found in many parks, mountains, and on horseback. A car rental in Split is an excellent way to explore the city, since you can take your vehicle out onto the countryside and experience it all on your own.

To compare prices for hotels, I use the service hotelhunter.

The town of Sibenik, on the island of Brac is another great place to visit on your trip to Croatia. Take a boat ride on the River Kornati to experience a unique and captivating journey. Sibenik is also home to a picturesque nature reserve, called Jeljina. A hire car and a comfortable room in a charming hotel will let you enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of this remarkable island. And don't forget: while you're in town, you can take advantage of other fantastic tourist attractions, like the Zadar Grand Hotel and St. Samuel Church.
